FAQ

How many PDF files can I merge at once?
There is no hard limit. You can merge as many files as your browser's memory allows. For very large files, processing may take a few seconds.
Will the quality of PDFs change after merging?
No. The tool copies pages directly without re-encoding, so the content quality is preserved exactly.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first. Use the PDF Unlocker tool on this site, then merge the unlocked files.
Can I pick specific pages from each PDF?
For selecting specific pages, use the PDF Split tool to extract the pages you need first, then merge the extracted files here.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All processing happens locally in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your PDFs are never uploaded to any server.
