Creating a Wi-Fi QR Code for Your Cyber Cafe
This is one of the most useful QR codes for cyber cafes and shops with Wi-Fi:
- Select "Wi-Fi Network" from the QR type dropdown
- Enter your Network Name (SSID)
- Enter your Wi-Fi Password
- Select Security Type: WPA/WPA2 (most modern routers)

Creating a WhatsApp QR Code
To create a WhatsApp direct message QR code:
- Select "URL" type in the QR generator
- Enter:
https://wa.me/91XXXXXXXXXX (replace with your 10-digit number)
- Generate and download
When scanned, this opens WhatsApp directly with your number pre-filled, ready to send a message.
QR Code Best Practices
- Test before printing: Always scan your QR code with your phone before printing large quantities
- Minimum size: QR codes should be at least 2.5cm x 2.5cm when printed for reliable scanning
- Error correction: Use H (30%) if printing outdoors or in places where the QR might get partially damaged
- Contrast: Keep high contrast between QR color and background. Dark on light is most reliable.
- Add a label: Add text below the QR code saying what it does (e.g., "Scan to join Wi-Fi" or "Scan to call us")
QR Code Size Guide for Printing
| Print Use | Recommended Size | Download Size Setting |
| Business card | 2-3 cm | 256px |
| A4 flyer / poster | 5-8 cm | 512px |
| Shop board / banner | 10-20 cm | 512px (will be scaled up) |
| WhatsApp sharing | Digital only | 256px |
Do QR codes expire?
No. Static QR codes (which is what our tool creates) never expire. They simply encode information — as long as the destination (website, phone number, Wi-Fi password) remains the same, the QR code will work forever.
Can I track who scans my QR code?
Static QR codes don't have tracking. For analytics (scan count, location), you need a dynamic QR code service like Bitly or QR Tiger. Our tool creates static QR codes.
Is the QR code free to use commercially?
Yes. QR codes generated by our tool are completely free for personal and commercial use. No attribution required.
